1. Student Symposium
Our faculty, Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry and Edirne Dentists' Chamber and the Edirne Dentists' Chamber branch where our students are located, organized the 1st National Student Symposium at our University Balkan Congress Center on October 12-13, 2024.
The symposium started on the 1st day with the speeches of our Dean Prof. Dr. Ahmet Altuğ ÇİLİNGİR and Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry Dean Prof. Dr. Korkut ULUCAN. Then, it continued with the presentations of Marmara University academic staff.
On the 2nd day of the symposium, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meltem TEKBAŞ ATAY from our faculty, “Restorative Treatment of Non-Carious Cervical Region Lesions”, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşegül KURT “Implant-Supported Removable Dentures”, Assoc. Pamir MERİÇ “Orthodontic Treatment Approaches in Impacted Teeth”, Dr. Lecturer Ece AÇIKGÖZ ALPARSLAN “Keratinized Tissue Augmentation Applications in Soft Tissues Around Teeth”, Dr. Lecturer Nazlı DURMUŞ “Treatment Approaches in Dental Traumas According to the Current IADT Guide”, Specialist Dr. Tülay ÇİLEL “Botulinum Toxin Applications in Dentistry” and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Filiz TUNA from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine made presentations under the titles of “Musculoskeletal System Problems in Dentistry”.
Our lecturers shared their experiences with our students and answered their questions about the topics they were curious about.
